A visit to a grade 3 and grade 1 class this morning proved how playful children can be! A hive of activity and laughter - and oh, so much excitement!
RANSA (Rand Central Nursery School Association) organises termly morning conferences for all pre-school teachers from a wide geographical area. During the session held on the 3rd March, 106 teachers experienced a playful workshop on how to use the DUPLO Play Box in their classrooms.
A visit to the Grade 1 classes at Bryandale Primary showed how much the children are loving the Six Bricks.
SANC is a hub of mathematical activity, passion & innovation that blends teacher & learner numeracy development with research in mathematics education in Grahamstown and South Africa. SANC works with teachers in schools as well as afterschool clubs and will be introducing Six Bricks to Gr R, 1 and 2 teachers in 19 schools.
