The Foundation Phase Initiative (FPI) has kicked off in the Free State. Fifteen delegates from the province joined for a day of Six Bricks fun, exploring, learning and finding out what this tool can bring to the FP classroom.
The Foundation Phase teachers at Lion Park School are starting to use Six Bricks in their teaching and learning. The children are enjoying the fun and playful activities.
Care for Education is partnering with PEN to provide resources for the ECD centres they are working with in Pretoria inner city. PEN takes the teachers from these centres on a journey, to upgrade and resource their creches, and to positively impact the teaching and learning taking place. CFE visited PEN and an ECD centre to see the wonderful work that teachers are doing using Six Bricks.
The 6th Annual Township Robotics competition took place in Atteridgeville. 150 learners from five different schools participated, with eager parents supporting and cheering!
