Gauteng held their regional competition for WRO at the Tshwane University of Technology on the 3rd and 4th August. A number of teams showed their skills in WeDo, Explorer, Football and Regular categories.
The Foundation Phase teachers at Blair Atholl Primary are integrating Six Bricks and the Six Bricks mat into their school day. The children are loving the playful nature of the activities and every child is engaged!
The Facilitator Course provides practitioners with the facilitation skills and content to run Play Box Level 1 and 2 training sessions.

The week's activities included visits to schools and ECD centres, presentations on current research involving Six Bricks, workshops, meetings looking at the next steps, and of course, a whole lot of fun.

Evah Nkosi organised a LEGO Fun day for ten ECD centres in Atteridgeville. Two hundred children played the morning away, experiencing fun, social activities that kept them engaged. The teachers played along with the children and guided the activities. A very successful morning!
