LEGO Challenge

Think of a time long ago, a period in history.

Maybe a time when giant dinosaurs roamed the earth or a time when knights rode into battle clad in metal armour or maybe the renaissance the rebirth of old technology, science and art!

There are many significant points in history where a story can be told, find one that interests you or maybe something you are learning in the classroom.

Your challenge is to conduct an investigation on your chosen point in history. Once you have your research material and know your historical event really well design and build a few models to help explain important events and teach others about it.

Explain:

When was this point in history? What year did it occur?

Why did you choose this point in history?

Why do you think this event is important and what impact do you think it may have had on the rest of the world?

What interesting facts did you learn in your investigation into this history?

Where did you find information about your event and was this information easy to find?

What LEGO models did you build and why did you choose to build these?

Write a few paragraphs about your chosen historical event answering the questions above. Include pictures of your LEGO models to help explain your chosen point in time.

Be sure to share your discoveries and help teach others about your chosen historical event!
