'Place of Hope'
Ethembeni is a non-profit organisation and partner of Care for Education. Their focus is on community care and uplifting disadvantaged communities and informal settlements. Alongside their feeding scheme, Ethembeni has launched an Early Childhood Development programme aimed at making a positive impact on children, teachers, and principals. Ethembeni uses educational LEGO® resources and training in Learning through Play provided by Care for Education to help bring hope to children across South Africa.
