How to facilitate a Six Bricks Mat training


Care for Education hosted an online Six Bricks Mat training. The session was attended by our fantastic international Six Bricks facilitators who got to experience how to facilitate a Six Bricks Mat training filled with some of our new ideas.


The session covered the following below:

1. Spatial awareness, especially in mathematics - the difference between Spatial awareness & number concept.

2. How working with a partner looks very different with the position of the person

3. How to give Agency to children and the person who is going to facilitate the Mat training.
