Play Box Postings is an exciting new series describing aspects of the Play Box story in early childhood settings across South Africa. Join Care for Education over the next few weeks as we share a short piece from the South African case study each week. This week, we will be looking at Attridgeville Network of Early Childhood Centres. Stay tuned!

Play Box Postings
In 2021 the LEGO Foundation contracted Itad to undertake an assessment of practice with Play Box through case studies in Mexico, Ukraine, the Middle East and North Africa, South Africa and Cambodia. The “Play Box Postings” comprise extracts from the South African case study.
The South African case study would not have been possible without the invaluable inputs from LEGO Foundation and Care for Education (CfE). Managers, trainers and practitioners of LEGO Foundation South Africa, Care for Education, Urban Kids, Living Kids, Attridgeville ECD sites, Chief Albert Luthuli ECD sites, Zero2Five and Thanda Community Centre provided the substance for this study. Participants in the study all engaged enthusiastically and shared their insights and knowledge generously.
