The Six Bricks at Home COVID19 initiative has led to parents and caregivers becoming more engaged in their children's playful experiences. The Six Bricks pamphlet has been helpful in guiding parents on how to engage their children as they interact with Six Bricks, and has also provided them with the assurance that learning is taking place as their children play. At times, the engagement has been hands-on, with parent and child working together on an activity. And at other times, the engagement has been that of moral support, as a parent encourages and cheers a child on. While Six Bricks has helped to enrich playful experiences for children, it has also had the added advantage of increasing parent-child engagement in the home.
