DUPLO in Diepsloot

Dancing with DUPLO Brickstreamers

As part of our ECD mentorship programme we visited an informal ECD located in a small home in the densely populated township of Diepsloot.

Children chose different DUPLO elements and shiny strips to make streamers to dance and complete ' Listen and Do' activities with. Many of the little ones were mesmerized by the streamers and a delight to watch as were the teachers who joined in happily.

Although many were shy to begin with everyone soon got moving and grooving.

Storytime followed by construction fun

Teachers were amazed children could be fully engaged and calm while 'Learning through Play'. We look forward to continuing our support to make a meaningful difference with DUPLO.
