Earlier last week, district subject advisors facilitated training in learning through play using Six Bricks.
Following their previous training from Care for Education, district subject advisors led face-to-face training at Setlamorago Primary School in Sekhukhune East for Grade R to Grade 3 teachers. The training spanned over 3 days and reached 2 different groups of Foundation Phase teachers.
The teachers were excited to learn about how to integrate learning through play activities and methods in their curriculum. They eagerly offered up knowledge and stories and participated in activities with enthusiasm and good nature. They left the training with exciting, new ideas to implement learning through play in the variety of classrooms and schools they represented.
