The Rotary Club of Fourways has been working with the Diepsloot Residence Association for a few years now. With the current lockdown regulations, many residences have little or no income and the Residence Association has set up a soup kitchen, three times a week, to help feed families. While waiting in the queue at the soup kitchen, Fourways Rotary Club, with the support of Care for Education and the LEGO Foundation, have been handing out sets of SIX BRICKS along with an information booklet which provides activities that the mums and dads can play at home with their children.
This has been so well received with the mums looking through the booklets and laughing at the things they can try at home.
