Last month, the halls of Pinnacle College at Founders Hill were buzzing – and not just from the usual school day energy. Over 100 teachers from across the Pinnacle Colleges group gathered for something a little different … a little hands-on … and a lot more playful.
What unfolded was a brickstorm – a creative whirlwind powered by Six Bricks and fuelled by curiosity, collaboration, and a whole lot of laughter.
The hall quickly turned into a vibrant hive of ideas, colour, movement, and joyful chaos. Teachers rolled up their sleeves and dived into a world where play isn’t just encouraged – it’s essential.
We saw “aha!” moments light up faces, heard giggles during competitive challenges, and felt the energy rise as teachers discovered just how meaningful a small brick can be in the hands of an eager child and an inspired teacher.
But what made the day even more wonderful wasn’t just the activities – it was the teachers themselves. They didn’t just learn about Six Bricks – they took the idea and ran with it. They swapped stories, suggested adaptations, and imagined new ways to use the bricks with their learners.
By the end of the day, each teacher walked away not only knowing their bricks would be waiting for them in the classroom, but also with a reminder of the importance of a playful mindset – and the confidence to start implementing new ideas the very next morning.
So, here’s to the Pinnacle College teachers who proved yet again that when grown-ups are willing to play, learners win. The bricks may be small, but the effect is huge.
We can’t wait to train the next group of teachers next month, and we know they’ll bring the same energy, creativity, and commitment to improving teaching and learning for all learners.
