Play Africa, a partner of Care for Education, has distributed sets of Six Bricks and activities booklets to parents. The distribution of the first 250 packs to families in Hillbrow is part of their Play, Heal and Connect programme (which includes one-on-one telephonic mental health support and virtual group support groups). Each family received a bag with messaging and play ideas.
The parents responded quickly, telling Play Africa staff how beneficial the give-aways have been.
