Siyabonga CFE

Zero2Five are continuing to do incredible work impacting ECD centres in KZN. On reporting back on their first full DUPLO workshop after lockdown Nokubonga explained how the Estcourt ladies were excited to gain an understanding of the value of playful learning and how using manipulatives like DUPLO can assist with developing a child's physical, social, cognitive, creative and emotional skills holistically.

The workshop came at a time when ECD centres had been closed for a full 5 months during lockdown, with their last income being from March school fees. To kick off the rest of the very trying 2020 school year with brand new, fun and clever resources gave these ladies a sense of hope for this new beginning.

In the words of participants "Thank you for giving us hope and structure during a time when many of us are facing closure. Siyabonga, this is great".
